So today is the last Friday of classes. I am done taking finals and I have only one big project to finish. Yeah! I am so excited! I will then go home for the entire summer where I will be back at the mind-numbing clinic. At least I have my garden and pool (the redneck spa). It is actually quite classy. It is a children's pool that I have to set up in the field, because my mom does not want her grass killed. It is a good time.

Today is just another Tuesday. I did find out where I will be going for my internship... The winner is Herscher, Illinois. Here are the websites for the church and the town.

http://www.herscher.net/index.html

http://www.trinityherscher.com

Very exciting! They are giving me a house to live in as well. I just hope it has a garden.
The town is very small. No fast food, but I think that is a good thing. Only a "Mario's market" for shopping. However, Kankakee is only 10-15 miles away. That is where I will be doing most of my shopping.

Hello Friends,
This weekend is going to be very exciting for me. My parents are coming into town this evening for my placement ceremony on Sunday. I will finally be finding out where I am going to go for my year long internship that will take place from December 2005 - December 2006, then I graduate. I cannot wait to find out!
Since my parents have never really stayed here in Chicago, it should be fun. We are going to go shopping, see the Art Institute and Shedd Aquarium and much more. They are also bringing my brother Dave. Should be fun!

This will be another long weekend. Last night I sat up and watched a movie until I was bored enough to go to sleep. Then I woke up to the sound of my neighbors, again. I swear, all the girls on this floor are so loud and inconsiderate.
I have to babysit also. I am not feeling 100%, but it will have to do. The parents are going out of town for the night, which means, I get paid for sleeping. I am, however, awaiting the infamous call from them to cancel. I was supposed to babysit last night and they canceled. So if they cancel tonight, it will mean another weekend ruined. Another weekend that could have had potential. At least I might get caught up on homework.

Valentine's Day

This weekend was so unproductive, not very much fun and a big headache. It started out with me driving to Ryan's mom house, then waking up early and looking at a house that she is in the process of buying. It is a wonderful house. She should be happy there.
Then the fun started (She said in a mildly sarcastic tone...). I called my parents and found out they had to have my dog, Magic, put to sleep. He has not been doing well for a few months now, so it is not unexpected. However, it is still hard. He is in a better place now.
Ryan and I then drove back to River Forest to meet friends for lunch. Of course, we took his car and I did not have sun glasses. He did not have any as well. So I had a massive headache the rest of the day. We finally got back to Barrington in the afternoon. I then went shopping for a new swim suit. Yeah, totally found out just how fat I am. That killed what little the Tylenol had done to suppress my head. I did find a suit. Ryan and I then went to the hot tub.
So I got home on Sunday in the early afternoon and had to babysit from 12-3:45. I got lost taking them to lunch, because of bad directions and them screaming in the back. We found the place. I sat them down, while I went up to place the order. While I am up there waiting and trying to decide what I want they decided to help themselves to the bread-sticks and chips that went with the buffet. AHH! After fixing that, and getting them to stay in their chairs, I finally placed the order and got the drinks and went to sit down. So this jackass all of a sudden turns around and starts running in the restaurant. Yeah, he was like 30 and should have known better. Of course, he knocked over the entire tray of drinks onto a table. So I have the kids mad because now they have to wait even longer, the guy that works there because he had to clean up the mess and the guy that did it had the balls to seem pissed off. Like it was my fault!
So we finally get done eating and I take the kids to the muesum. After they fight and cause a huge scene, we left after only 45 minutes. So I had to take them to my dorm room. I got them paper, markers, paints and a bunch of other stuff and they were actually good for the rest of the time. Of course, I was not fully recovered from my massive headache the day before, so my head was throbbing by the time I got them home. I am glad the weekend is over.
Today is better already. It is Valentine's day. I am so excited. Ryan and I are meeting in Palatine for dinner. It should be nice. I have not decided on a present for him. Oh, well.

I am so full. All we do at work is eat. Eat and not work, eat and not work. (I'm a banana) I am also stuck here working on this crap that I have been working on since August. It is like purgatory or hell, never ending and extremely painful. (I'm a banana) I am so happy to be here.
So those crappy evaluations (the purgatory) are from teachers. That is right, real, live teachers that have been certified to teach, by the state. So these teachers are the reasons the evaluations are crappy. They don't know how to to punctuation, correct grammar and spelling, and legible handwriting! (I'm a banana) I cannot tell you how many of these morons think that "a lot" is one word! The amount of double negatives are horrific as well! One would think that if they are certified to teach our child then can, themselves, have the skills they teach! This is however, very untrue. It is tragic my friends, just tragic. (I'm a banana)

I am suppose to be working. I am bored. It isn't like people here actually work. They just sit around, talk to friends on the phone, watch their children on television and that sort of thing. Yeah, real productive.

So this is one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy.
http://slate.msn.com/id/2095868/
I heard they have a pepper bar.
